Dinner at Restaurant Megan...
After the holiday week, we had to take it easy (spare our livers ;) ) and save some money...so it was time to visit the one and only, one-of-a-kind Restaurant Megan Michaud.... yummy :)

Paris, oh Paris...
First things first.... at the airport in Milan we bought 2 disposable cameras!!!!!!!!!!!! yeeeey!!!! hoe cHool is that???
In Paris we took the train to Bastille to meet Charles and Thibo!!! and then went to Charles brother to hang out...a few hours later Lydia arrived and we had THE best dinner at this lovely typical French restaurant...yam :) The party was gonna be at this club on Champs Élysées where it was lady's night...sounds fancy huh? Well not really...the place was packed with young girls that were wearing nothing....and a few disgusting guys who only came there to score...and the place....reminds me of High Light (hahaa, maby not that bad) so, we didn't stay for long...Thibo was driving, so we went to a bar for a cocktail, and then to Charles' parents' place in the suburbs...
Next day it was time to pack our belongings and move to Yassin's place..a guy Megan met at the sémi, who seemed really nice, and who offered us a place to stay in for free...who could resist that???
BIIG mistake... it was all fun and nice until we decided to go for a coffee and have a small snack... Yassin suggested a place and Lydia wasn't really sure about the place...after that hell broke down.. it was the most awkward lunch I've had in my entire life, or correction, the most awkward half an hour I've ever had in my life!!!!!!! so after that we didn't really want to hang out with him anymore, so be basically made plans with Charles and his friends all the time :)
We had the best time...we just partied a LOT!!! and lived the typical Parisian life, aka Cafe hopping :) just chilling, taking it easy, not worries, only good coffee in good company!! well that's a life I could live!
And the night life...OMG...soo good!!! I'm in love with this place called Les Club des Saints-Perez!!! It's this really trendy place with a lot of cool people, and they play a mix of old and new music!!! love it!! we actually went there 2 times :) and the food....love, love, looove!!!!!!!
And we met so many cool people...and Paris is actually not that big, we ran into 3 people we knew in only 4 days...and I mean, we really don't know everybody, so that was kinda weird, hahaa...
The drama happened when we were on our way home...so we went to Saints-Peres, and our plan was just to pick up our stuff from our friends place (where we took the stuff earlier so we didn't have to go back to Yassin's place) and then go directly to the airport...everything was running kinda smoothly until we arrived...we were really late so we had to cut the line in order to catch the plane...ones we got to the check-in (a geeky guy let us come before the others) Megan realized she'd lost her passport..so in the end, it was only me and Lydia flying back to Nice...so drunk, so tired and so worried about Megan...
turned out she was just too drunk to find her passport, hahaaaa....funny trip, lot's of memories from THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD
J'adore Paris!!!!
Ps...pictures coming later, since we haven't developed them yet :)

Milan...
At Sunday night 25.10 I met Megan at Häagen Dazs to book a place to stay in Milan. After a lot of hotels, hostels and ice cream later we decided to stay in a B&B in the center of Milan...the train left the next morning at 10 am...always in time with everything :)
So the train took as 5 hours...huh...boring...when we arrived at the train station we were already amazed...the place was beautiful, so Italian!!! we took the metro to our place, only to find out that ewe were staying at Grandma's. This place was the weirdest place I've ever been too. The woman owning the place aka Grandma was the cutest person ever!!! Every time we left the house she came rushing to the door asking where we were going and when we would be back. She even asked us if we drink a lot :) And the room...it was the typical grandma room....we actually counted 9 different flower patterns in our room!!!!

At first we just stayed at Grandma's since we were so tired...since it was a B&B there were food available around the clock...so we ate some toast with jam and Grandma cheese...oooow I just love Grandma cheese :) After our rest we went shopping...and we both bought shoes :) and some stuff from H&M...the weirdest thing happened at the shoe shop where Megan bought her shoes...this woman came to the store complaining about a pair of shoes she had bought...I kinda got the feeling that she wanted to return them without an receipt..this turned out to a huge fight and the sales person and the other woman were just shouting to each other...at the end sales person started crying...talk about emotional Italians...
The first night we went to the famous restaurant/bat Just Cavalli...the place was totally empty be we thought we'd order a drink and see if it would get busier.. we met some English guys working in Hong Kong and we ordered some more drinks and stayed until they asked us to leave...we continued to this night club called the Old Fashion and the guys got us a table with bottle service...not too shabby.. we danced and drank the whole night and at some point the bottle service really got to us and we wanted to leave...so we took a taxi home, which btw is sooo cheap in Italy :)

Just Cavalli

The next morning we woke up tired and hungover...we were too lazy to have some breakfast so we just went out to find a restaurant to have some lunch at. We found the cutest restaurant with the best mozzarella ever!!! The food wasn't the best though...after that we went to Duomo...walked up the stairs and saw the view...very beautiful building...and ones we were up there we saw a rooftop terrace across from there....and it looked so good!! so we went down and went up again on the other side of the street!!! and had the best (and most expensive) orange juice EVER!!!!

after a little bit of resting again :) we went outside...we were both dressed to impress and went to this place where a lot of students hang out..to our surprise we were totally over dressed...the students were sitting outside, wearing jeans and buying beers from these take away beer places...so we continued walking and found a nice restaurant were we had dinner...after that we went to the nicest place we could find and had a few drinks....this place closed at 2 pm so we just went home afterwords... we would still have plenty of time to party in Paris....
The next day we went to the airport...Paris here we come :) (btw we bought disposable cameras at the airport :) )

Nissa-Lyon 4-1
Today we went to see a football game with the ESPEME students, meaning mostly Britt's.. Nice was playing against the leader of the French league, and Nice sucks...but we went anyway coz it's fun :) And the game really turned out to be totally different, Nissa just kept scoring afters scoring...hahaaa...and won by 4 against 1...The stadium sucked, you couldn't get any warm food...cold onion pizza was the closest thing to food they sold :)After wards we went to old town for some drinks (surprise surprise)

hahaaa...after the game there were a lot of police men and Megan just had to go pose with them :)

Last "real" french lesson
on Thursday 22 of October during our last real french lesson we decided to go to Wayne's since it's ladies night after all...meaning champagne for 1 euro glass....So after the lesson which ended 8 pm we all went home to get ready...at about 10 am I met Aida and we walked together to Karina's place with 4 bottles of champagne in our bags :) Somehow the rumor about the pre party had spread, and the quiet ll girls pre party got bigger and badder :) We went to Wayne's and had some more champagne...since we got there so late I only got one glass coz they ran out after that...
After Wayne's closed at 2 pm we were not about to go home yet...so me, Aida, Karina, Megan and Romain went to Pompei which is open until later...Aida convinced me to take a tequila shot and megan
convinced me to take some drinks :) yes, blame it on the others...we went home about 4 am...
Next day we met with the french group at Café Massena to have a french lunch :)

Computer Service and L'Hacienda
My day didn't start so well..I was hungover from the OB and as I got a virus in my computer it turned out that it had spread so badly that I had to take it to a computer store...I had to copy all my files to an external hard drive...which took me about 2 hours since I had so much stuff on my computer...fun day :)
Well later we were off to the Hacienda, a house owned by a bunch of EDHEC students up in the mountains...In the buss we met Aida, Karina, Carmen, Pilar and Juliane...We were drinking and having fun (since the bus ride was supposed to take one hour...) but at a station the bus stopped and the driver and an other guy came up to us and told us it was illegal to drink alcohol in a bus...so we did what were supposed too and out our bottles away...later the guy came back (still at the same station) and yelled at us for drinking...which we didn't do anymore...he called the police an we had to take all our open bottles outside in the trash...even the police was laughing...this guy didn't work for the bus company, he was just a regular guy with an attitude problem...so we stopped drinking but continued to be loud, or even louder than before....

The guys at the Hacienda came to pick us up whit cars from the bus stop...the house wasn't just a regular house, it was HUGE!!!! and it had a swimming pool and a tennis court in the garden..not too shabby for a couple of students!!!! The party wasn't so good...there were only a few people since everybody was so tired from the OB...we had to stay there the whole night since there's no going back from there..

Charles' B-day and OB at Pink
Me Lydia and Megan were invited to Charles' Birthday party at their place...just conveniently before the OB (open bar) We bought him a chocolate cake and together wit the others a iPhone adapter for his car...We were the first to come so we were also the first to start drinking...we were sitting and chatting and at some point even dancing on the tables :)

At around 1 am (I think) we headed off to Pink club were the OB took place..the place was packed with EDHEC students and everyone we know was there!!! It was so much fun...A OB in Nice doesn't mean the same thing as in Finland.. you don't only drink as much as you can for free, you also spill as much as you can!!! It is sooo messy and you can't wear nice clothes...I was completely wet!!!! In Lille the girls actually wear rubber boots to the OB:s, ours are a bit cleaner....At the end I slipped on the stairs and then decided to go home...

Just a regular Monday
I got a text from Lydia at 5.30 saying “we're going to Wayne's with Charles & Charles”...so one hour later I was there...It was happy hour so the drinks were ridiculously cheap :) After two glasses of wine and a Cosmopolitan we continued to Charles & Charles place...Charles and Vince took the car to go buy some alcohol, and me, Megan, Lydia and Charles started walking towards their place...Time for whiskey-coke :) We played this game where you play the theme music from a TV serie and we were supposed to guess which show it was...We were divided into two teams, me, Megan and Charles against Lydia and Charles...Vince was the host....It was so much fun even thought my team lost...Later Vince and Charles went out to get some food and came back with three bags of Mc Donald's food...at around 2 am we left the apartment...as I said just a regular Monday in Nice :)
Day trip to St Tropez
At about 2 am Friday night ma and Lydia decided to join the others on a day trip to St Tropez on Sunday. Meeting at the train station 9.30 → meaning not a lot of sleep that night :)
Well...the trip didn't start quite as planned...the train we were supposed to take was not a regional train, which meant that our tickets were not valid for that one...So they told us to wait 20 min for the next regional train....which was half an hour late...you can imagine this was annoying since we were all tired...
An hour later me, Lydia, Daniela, Katharina, Sean, Uwe and Sebastian stepped out of the train in St Raphaël where we were supposed to catch the train to St Tropez...But we found out that the bus takes 2 hours...shit...so we walked down to the harbour to check out the ferries which should only take 45 min or so...but the next ferry was at 2 pm...we had 2 hours to kill in St Raphaël, which btw isn't the most exciting place...we went to eat and people already started to come up with other plans than St Tropez...in the end we all decided to give St Tropez a chance...we went to the beach and soon the ferry was leaving. The sun came out and the weather was perfect. We took a loot of pictures :) I really enjoyed that ferry ride!!!!

Once we came to St Tropez there was a Porche exhibition or something...people came there with their porches to this closed area just to show up their cars. Luxurious or what?????
We started walking to the old town...I must say St Tropez isn't really that special at all...I think you need a yacht to enjoy it :) I think all the cities along the French Riviera (except for Monaco) are all quite the same..They all have the beach and luxurious shops...St Tropez had this hill with a castle...the view from the top was pretty nice....after wards we went for a cup of coffee and then took the bus back to St Raphaël... which btw did not take 2 hours, more like 1,5....so it was pretty bearable... then one hour in the train back to Nice...

We all went home to get ready to party....there was a girls party at the swede's house where we were supposed to go to but once I got there nobody answered their phones so I couldn't get in. So I walked to Daniela's place instead....Once I got there Megan called...well...to late. It was only a pre party since the swede's were going to Monaco and our plan was to go to a party at this French guy Jonathan's place. I dragged Daniea and Katharina with me, and Megan and Lydia came later...I really like the French style of partying...aka Drink as much as you want and you can take everything you see on the tables and in the fridge...so we did...we also took a shot, French style!!!! You put cinnamon on your hand (the same way you put salt when you drink tequila) lick it, drink the vodka and the eat some sugar....actually tastes better than pure vodka :)
I think the party got a little out of hand, since the police came to visit us :) The party ended around 2 am, Lydia went home, but me and Megan felt like partying...so we thought we'd go meet the others in old town. We called Sebastian and told him to meet us outside Wayne's since we didn't now where the bar they were a was....I said it will take us 10 min to walk there, and that I would call ones we are closer...well...one hour later Seb called to check where we were since we hadn't called...at that point we were 5 min from Wayne's...somehow our walk took a little longer than expected...we walked in the wrong direction, found snow and well...we were drunk :)

The bars had already closed ones we got there, so we went to an after party at Karina's place. And there was more alcohol....I think I was home at around 5.30 am...fun night :)
