So the train took as 5 hours...huh...boring...when we arrived at the train station we were already amazed...the place was beautiful, so Italian!!! we took the metro to our place, only to find out that ewe were staying at Grandma's. This place was the weirdest place I've ever been too. The woman owning the place aka Grandma was the cutest person ever!!! Every time we left the house she came rushing to the door asking where we were going and when we would be back. She even asked us if we drink a lot :) And the room...it was the typical grandma room....we actually counted 9 different flower patterns in our room!!!!
At first we just stayed at Grandma's since we were so tired...since it was a B&B there were food available around the clock...so we ate some toast with jam and Grandma cheese...oooow I just love Grandma cheese :) After our rest we went shopping...and we both bought shoes :) and some stuff from H&M...the weirdest thing happened at the shoe shop where Megan bought her shoes...this woman came to the store complaining about a pair of shoes she had bought...I kinda got the feeling that she wanted to return them without an receipt..this turned out to a huge fight and the sales person and the other woman were just shouting to each other...at the end sales person started crying...talk about emotional Italians...
The first night we went to the famous restaurant/bat Just Cavalli...the place was totally empty be we thought we'd order a drink and see if it would get busier.. we met some English guys working in Hong Kong and we ordered some more drinks and stayed until they asked us to leave...we continued to this night club called the Old Fashion and the guys got us a table with bottle service...not too shabby.. we danced and drank the whole night and at some point the bottle service really got to us and we wanted to leave...so we took a taxi home, which btw is sooo cheap in Italy :)
Just Cavalli
The next morning we woke up tired and hungover...we were too lazy to have some breakfast so we just went out to find a restaurant to have some lunch at. We found the cutest restaurant with the best mozzarella ever!!! The food wasn't the best though...after that we went to Duomo...walked up the stairs and saw the view...very beautiful building...and ones we were up there we saw a rooftop terrace across from there....and it looked so good!! so we went down and went up again on the other side of the street!!! and had the best (and most expensive) orange juice EVER!!!!
after a little bit of resting again :) we went outside...we were both dressed to impress and went to this place where a lot of students hang out..to our surprise we were totally over dressed...the students were sitting outside, wearing jeans and buying beers from these take away beer places...so we continued walking and found a nice restaurant were we had dinner...after that we went to the nicest place we could find and had a few drinks....this place closed at 2 pm so we just went home afterwords... we would still have plenty of time to party in Paris....
The next day we went to the airport...Paris here we come :) (btw we bought disposable cameras at the airport :) )
